Privacy Policy

Overview

This covers how Unsleeved handles your data during the unsleeved.app beta. What we collect, why, and how to reach us. It reflects the product as it works today and will change as the beta does.

Account and contact data

When you create an account we store your email, username, and password (hashed via our auth provider). We use that to sign you in, run your profile, and send account or beta notices when needed.

Plays, reviews, and social content

Plays, reviews, ratings, shelves, lists, follows, and profile details you create are stored so we can show them back to you and, where the product makes them visible, to other Unsleeved users.

Treat public profile content and reviews as visible to other people on the service. Don't post personal information you wouldn't want shared in that context.

BoardGameGeek import

Connect a BGG username and run an import, and we may store that username plus collection / game metadata needed for shelves and logging. That data comes from BGG at your request; we use it to run Unsleeved, not to sell it.

Sessions and cookies

After you sign in, session tokens are stored in your browser (local storage) so you stay signed in. We do not run a third-party advertising cookie stack on the marketing or app surfaces described here. Essential technical storage for authentication and basic operation is required for the product to work.

Service providers

We use infrastructure providers to host the app, database, and authentication (including Supabase-backed auth and Postgres). Those providers process data on our behalf to run the service.

We use Sentry for error monitoring in production. When the app encounters an unexpected error, Sentry may receive technical details such as the error message, stack trace, page URL, and (if you are signed in) your user id. We do not send your email address or password to Sentry.

If you choose to send feedback through our in-app form or the optional "Report a bug" dialog, we receive the message you write and any context you attach (such as the page you were on). Contact email is only collected if you provide it.

Retention and beta changes

We retain account and content data while your account is active and as needed to operate the beta. Because Unsleeved is in beta, data practices, retention, and features may change; we may also need to reset or migrate data as the product develops.

Your choices

You can update profile-related content through the product where editing is available. To ask about account deletion, data access, or other privacy requests, email hello@unsleeved.app.
